I’ve been away from the computer longer than expected, so this Bank Holiday weekend I bring treats!
The following screencaptures have been added to the gallery;
I also added a few more photos to the ‘Promotional Photos’ in Series 2 and 4, and the ‘On Set’ photos in Series 3.
The Video Archive is also currently being updated, with 3 videos in the process of being uploaded. These are the blooper trails from Series 2 and 3 of Doctor Who, and 1 deleted scene from Series 3 which features David talking in the TARDIS (from ‘Human Nature’ of series 3).
Enjoy!
There will be no updates until early next week (Monday / Tuesday) as I’m away visiting family. Updates will resume as normal from then.
I’ve added a Hamlet wallpaper to the site, and updated the affiliates pages.
I’ve also added the final 3 music videos from Blackpool to the Video Archive - ‘Should I Stay’, ‘The Gambler’ and ‘Sqweeze Me’. You can find those here in the video archive.
I also added screencaptures from ‘Love and Monsters’ (Doctor Who, Series 2, Episode 10) to the Gallery yesterday but forgot to post here about it!
I have added 18 more Hamlet stills to the Gallery - they are absolutely gorgeous shots, which make me wish I was able to see it!! I am going to see Loves Labours Lost in October however, so i’ll report on that nearer to the time!
To the Gallery, I have added 2 promotional pictures from Hamlet, 4 pictures from rehearsals, and 13 stills from the performance.
Please note, these are MQ images, and replace any HQ images that were previously in our Gallery.
I’ve added the video clip ‘Music of the Spheres’ to the Video Archive - this was the short Doctor Who clip which was exclusively shown at the BBC Doctor Who proms this morning, in London.
I’ve also added various HQ’s to the Gallery - including some from the 2006 NTA’s, Sony Ericsson Awards and TV Quick awards.
Also a quick picture to feature… this is from a newpaper cutting I found through Google, and features David in character as Hamlet!
I have added screencaptures from Series 2 episodes ‘School Reunion’ and ‘The Girl in the Fireplace’ to the Doctor Who section of the gallery.
Doctor Who and Star Trek fans have been banned from having sci-fi merchandise signed by David Tennant and Patrick Stewart while they star in Hamlet.
The Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) says only programmes and other Hamlet merchandise can be autographed at the stage door.
Tennant and Stewart are starring in the RSC production at the Courtyard Theatre, in Stratford.
The first preview begins later, and the play opens on 5 August.
Hamlet director, Gregory Doran, recently said fans arrive at the stage door with “bags” of Doctor Who merchandise for Tennant to autograph.
Disappointment
In a statement, the RSC said the level of interest in Tennant and Stewart meant “limits” had to be imposed.
“Due to the huge amount of interest in the RSC’s current production of Hamlet, only Royal Shakespeare Company or production related memorabilia will be signed by members of the company,” the RSC said.
“It is very flattering that there is so much interest in this production, but the sheer volume of requests means that we need to set some limits which will be as fair as possible for everyone.
“We apologise if this causes any disappointment.”
Signs outlining the no autographs policy have reportedly been erected in the window at the stage door.
Tennant’s performance in Hamlet has been hotly anticipated, with tickets exchanging hands on the internet auction site eBay for up to £215 each.
The 37-year-old Scottish actor, who takes on the lead role of Hamlet, made his debut as the Time Lord in Doctor Who in 2005.
His previous RSC credits include Antipholus of Syracuse in The Comedy of Errors.
Stewart is best known for playing Captain Jean-Luc Picard in Star Trek, but has a string of critically acclaimed stage performances to his name.
He plays two roles in the RSC production of Hamlet - Claudius and the Ghost.

I’ve added a mass of screencaptures to the gallery, including captures from ‘The Christmas Invasion’ and ‘Tooth and Claw’ from Doctor Who series 2.
I recently bought the Series 1 boxset of Doctor Who, and was glad to find a little ‘Backstage’ treat from ‘The Christmas Invasion’, which featured a little of David. This has been captured too, and is now viewable in the Gallery!
Well, 1 picture really. Another picture of David rehearsing Hamlet has surfaced, and is now in the gallery. Thanks to sam42 for this picture.
